I am currently looking to hire 2 Machine Operator Trainees from the Hesperia, Victorville, Apple Valley, Phelan, Adelanto area. I am looking for top notch individuals who want to learn a trade and become a Machinist. This opportunity does not come along often.
Applicants who meet the requirements shown below will be tested for math/mechanical abilities.
Requirements:
- Must have Covid-19 Vaccination, at least 1 shot at this time - Please bring proof of Vaccination -
- For the safety of all involved, full Covid-19 vaccinations are required in our facility.
- Good Mechanical Ability
- Basic Math Ability (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals and fractions)
- Minimum 4 years work experience (machine experience is not required)
- Previous manufacturing experience is not required, but is advantageous.
- Fluent speaking English
- Must be U.S. Citizen or Legal Resident
Pay Rates:
- $16/hr for the first 3 Months of training.
- $18/hr at 3 Months.
- $3000 sign-on Bonus.
- Regularly Scheduled Raises every 3 months.
- 8 paid holidays, after 90 days of Full-Time Employment.
- 3 paid sick days per year
- Vacation:
- 1 week after 1 year
- 2 weeks at 2 years
- 3 weeks at 5 years
- 4 weeks at 10 years.
Raises:
- $18/hr at 3 Months.
- Subsequent raises every 3 months range from $0.50 to $1.00/hr for the next 2 years.
- Work uniforms are provided after 4 months of full-time employment
- A solid operator who produces as expected and does not miss time from work
- Earns $20-21/hr within 1 year
- Earns $23-25/hr within 2 years
- After 2 years, evaluations for raises will be every 6 months until you have 5 years experience. Raises should be $1.00-3.00/hr.
- After 5 years, evaluations are on an annual basis and are based on your job performance.
- Top pay in this field is currently over $35/hr.
