Keyword Domains are easy to remember because they describe exactly what your business is about.

Customers will think that you are stronger and have been in business longer if you have the most relevant keyword domain.

Many will simply type into the URL box what they are looking for. If you own that domain and have it pointed to your site, you stand a strong chance of gaining their business, that is, if you have a good website to go with it.

Search engines have already become cluttered with pages of useless results from their keyword searches. Within the next 2 years, they will be forced to recognize websites by the content of their domain names more than the meta-tags within the site. They will recognize that owners of them paid good money for them in order to be recognized for what they sell or what they do. Users of the search engines will recognize the same thing. If you have HomeLoan.com or AutoLoan.com, you have a strong name. If you have LoanKingdom.com or LoanYes.com, you have a weaker name.

There are already two search engines that we know search within domains, Netcraft.com and clickey.com. Try their search and see what you come up with, be specific. Some other engines are beginning already to give relevance to the contents of a domain name. The next time you search for something, look at the URL of the websites that come up.

You don't have to title your page by the keyword domains.  You can use keyword domains to direct traffic to your existing website.

A couple of examples are ScrewMachinist.com, BrassFitting.com or CustomScrews.com all of which direct to a website for my Screw Machine Business. 

They are names that a potential customer might look for within a search engine.
